i had a pleasant stay at eastin hotel penang. the location is fantastic, just a short walk from queensbay mall with plenty of dining options. the staff, especially at the front desk, were super helpful, going above and beyond when we thought we lost our backpack. plus, i enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool!

However, I wasn't a fan of the credit card pre-authorization process. It's a bit ridiculous to be charged at check-in and then again at checkout! Come on, just charge us once, right? It left me scratching my head.
